About Us
The Financial Markets Dealers Association of Nigeria (FMDA) formerly known as Money Market Association of Nigeria (MMAN) is a self regulatory body in Nigeria; initially registered in 1989 under land (Perpetual succession) Act of 1962 and registered later under the Incorporated Trustees on 11th March 2010 as FMDA; to develop financial market infrastructure, human capital and promote professional and ethical standards in treasury activities in Nigeria.
Objectives
Our objectives include:
· Providing a forum for members: To facilitate networking and discussion among financial institutions and professionals.
· Promoting market awareness: To increase public awareness and demand for financial market instruments.
· Representing member interests: To present views and opinions on matters affecting the financial markets.
· Contributing to market development: To promote education, best practices, and technical advice in the financial markets.
· Collaborating with regulatory bodies: To work with government and regulatory agencies to formulate policies and guidelines for the financial markets.
Membership
We welcome corporate membership from financial institutions, non-bank financial institutions, and multinationals involved in naira, foreign exchange, and government securities trading. To apply, prospective members can complete the membership application form. The application will be circulated to existing members for feedback, and upon approval, the organization will be required to make relevant payments to confirm its admission.

Eligibility Criteria
· Must be a registered financial institution

Fees
Application Fee: N100,000 (non-refundable)
Annual Subscription Fees:
· Banks: ₦15 million
· Non-Bank Financial Institutions: ₦7.5 million
· Payment Service Banks (PSBs): ₦5 million
· Others: ₦5 million
